Mike Panish has been the retained expert witness of choice for many electrical
related injury cases. He has participated and consulted in burn injuries,
wrongful death, and amputation cases relating to shock hazard and jobsite injuries.
Mike is a licensed electrical contractor that specializes in commercial,
medical, and specialty installations of proprietary equipment. He has
personally wired and installed equipment ranging from low voltage devices
to high voltage supply vaults during his 30+ years as an electrical contractor.
His company has been called upon to work directly with power companies
as on-site representatives on behalf of medical centers bringing new power
to their equipment and building projects. He has been involved in MRI
facilities (both portable and permanent installations), temporary power
projects to mobile building trailers, Gamma Knife installations, main
switch gear installations, complete power supply change outs, and has
been involved in new power pole replacements for both local suppliers
and telephone and cabling networks. He has designed and built many recording
studios and sound stages that have critical electrical noise specifications
and requirements. His company has installed wiring systems and electrical
service in commercial venues, mini malls, shopping centers, and themed
restaurants needing special wiring and power. Mike has been retained as
the electrical contractor on many emergency on-call projects that have
included extreme access and specialized knowledge. Mike Panish has a strong
background of electrical engineering and acoustic design.
Mike has been retained to consult on injuries to children in sports facilities
such as little league fields, parks and recreation injuries due to exposed
wiring vaults, cable and internet service vaults, workmen's compensation
claims relating to electrical injuries to workers doing maintenance of
plumbing lines in proximity to electrical service areas, and has been
brought into analyze parking lot lighting deficiencies where high voltage
pull boxes were left open after service work had been performed, leading
to the death of a patron of the parking lot.
